I was hoping that this particular item would gain more traction than it has because for all intents and purposes, the "Search" functionality is currently broken. If you can't search for content site-wide in a manner that gives you full control over your website design templates, then Mango Blog can really only be used for simple, blog-roll style websites. If you could give me information privately on how I might modify the SQL within the CFCs to include page content, then I'd be more than happy to work on the implementation myself.
